This body of work is the result of the delicate interplay of two opposing, but often complementary forces; the push and pull between form and feeling, indulgence and restraint. It is a testament to trusting that sometimes, less is more. As a person who has learned to manage her sensitivity and higher levels of anxiety with various practices, this work is a yearning for simplicity and calm, patience and trust, away from the overstimulation that often accompanies this digital age. Kimberly encourages the viewer to spend time with the works so that the delicate nature of each piece can reveal itself overtime.
