This body of work is the result of the delicate interplay of two opposing, but often complementary forces; the push and pull between form and feeling, indulgence and restraint. It is a testament to trusting that sometimes, less is more. This work expresses a longing for presence, simplicity, and patience amid the challenges of living in a digital age characterized by sensory overload, rapid consumption, and ever-shortening attention spans. Kimberly encourages the viewer to spend time with the works so that the delicate nature of each piece can reveal itself overtime.
